The International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. In 2010, the celebration included best picture and best director for Kathryn Bigelow during 82nd Academy Awards in Hollywood. El dia Internacional de la mujer (8 de marzo) es cuando se celebra a nivel global los logros politicos, culturales, artisticos y demas de feminas del pasado, presente y futuro. En el 2010 las artes celebro por partida doble luego de que la Academia de Ciencias Cinematograficas otorgara por primera vez el Oscar como Mejor pelicula y Mejor Director a Kathryn Bigelow. Solo 4 mujeres habian sido nominadas para ese galardon en los 82 ano que tiene de celebrarse la entrega de premio en Hollywood. She is a contributor to El Nuevo Herald, a McClatchy Newspaper, Diario La Prensa, Alma Vision Miami 87.7 Fm, Mi Voz Stereo y el Tren de la Salsa.
